theIn 1942, "Focke-of Angeles" released a rather unusual autogyro Fa.225, which was a DFS glider.230 without wings, with three-bladed screw from Fa.223 and wheeled chassis. It was intended for landing on limited sites in autorotation mode and had to be towed by a conventional rope at a speed of 185-250 km/h. Weight Fa.225 amounted to 2000 kg, including 1000 kg of cargo. The gyroplane could sit on the site in 15-20m. The tests were carried out in 1943. Despite the good landing distance - 18m, this hybrid gyroplane and glider has not been adopted because of the low towing speed, and handling designed in just seven weeks Fa.225 was lower than desired.
