Amet Khan Sultan is a famous fighter pilot, twice Hero of the Soviet Union. He participated in the great Patriotic war from the first days. During the war he personally shot down 30 and in a group of 19 enemy aircraft. In August 1942, as part of the 4th fighter regiment Amet Khan Sultan Yak-7A takes part in the battle of Stalingrad. Here he was included in a special group created to fight the German ACE pilots. The last air battle Sultan Amet Khan held April 29, 1945 over Germany, destroying the fighter Fw190.
