the First instance of the Mirage III took to the air on 9 October 1960. The aircraft was a single interceptor with Atar 09B-3 engine. Weapons consisted of 30 mm guns DEFA with 125 rounds of ammunition. As an interceptor, the aircraft had a series of air-to-air missiles (Matra R-511, R-530, Sidewinders). To attack ground targets was used missiles air-to-ground AS.20 or jl100r rocket launcher.
