the Tu-2 was one of the best front-line and dive bombers of world war II.
the Aircraft was developed in 1941 in KB an. Tupolev, however serial production began only autumn 1943 propulsion under the designation Tu-2S (the standard). At the end of the war, the Tu-2 has established itself as an excellent bomber and scout.
the Last modifications of Tu-2 were made before 1951
