Additional Information

This Soviet multipurpose biplane was probably built in larger numbers than any other post-war aircraft. The first Antonov an-2 took to the air in 1947, mass production continued until 1978. The aircraft is known under the designation of NATO "Colt", accommodates up to 14 passengers. More than 5,000 An-2s were built in the Soviet Union and several thousand in China and Poland.
