BA-20 is the most widespread Soviet armored car of the red Army. It was developed in 1936 and used for intelligence and communication. In 1939, the armored car was improved and received the designation BA-20M. In total, until 1941, 2013 armored vehicles BA-20 were manufactured. These machines have participated in the fighting on the Khalkhin-Gol in 1939, in the Russo-Finnish war, in the battles of 1941-1945.
